My first experience with Summer Camp Artist #29 was during 2005’s Big Summer Classic tour with a handful of SCI Fidelity artists, mostly. The picture above is from that show, with Keller William’s sitting in on a jam with today’s band, New Monsoon. For an hour long set, they managed to feature Keller on a song, Michael Franti on two songs, and then they threw in Jeff Austin of Yonder Mountain String Band to finish it off. All in all an enjoyable set from the day’s opening band. Thus, I managed to find a FLAC only copy of the show that I went to, and I converted it for all y’all’s listenin’ pleasure. Anyways, the band is a seven-piece act out of San Francisco, they’ve been at it for a good while, and you can expect big things from them in the next couple years.
