Maneja Beto working on new album Consistently voted one of the best latin bands in Austin, Maneja Beto is back in the studio, working on a follow-up to their 2004 release. “Para Que Las Paredes No Se Aburran” was voted one of the year’s best albums in 2004 by MusicAustin and received 5 stars from CD Baby.

Wrapping up a year that saw Maneja Beto play SXSW and the Austin City Limits Music Festival, band members Nelson Valente, Alex Chavez, Patrick Estrada, Will Schulz and Bobby Garza spent 6 days in the studio in mid-December.

Titled “Accidentes de Longitud y Latitud”, the 14-track sophomore offering is scheduled to be released in April with a cd release party at the Flamingo Cantina.
