I was sitting around the room cleaning up a little, and Family Groove Company’s cover of the song came on the playlist. It occured to me that I actually like the cover better; I’ve got many more wonderful memories regarding the Family Groove Company version, in particular setting up my tent for Summer Camp 2006 as the band finished off their Thursday set with this great rendition of a classic. There’s a few others as well, but suffice to say I never got the same warm vibes from the original as I do from FGC’s version.
