Alright, well I’ve been promising for long enough, it’s about time I make good on that promise. BurningOak is going to feature every artist playing at Summer Camp 2006 before the big weekend, May 26-28. Our first artist? Backyard Tire Fire.

I’ve got to get going to the Of Montreal concert, which I’ll report on tomorrow, but until then I’ll let the music speak for itself. Here’s Tire Fire performing live at Off Broadway in St. Louis, MO, on February 18th, 2006 (Archive.Org Link). I recommend “The Daze.” It’s a great song and a good quality recording.

Time: 76:47

w/ Jerry Ericson on the pedal steel for the entire set. —————————————————————————
