My impression of Japanese music has always been that it is wierd, eccentric, and pretty frickin’ out there. While I’m sure they’ve got just as many regular musicians as we do, I still harbor a sentiment that Japan would be a good place to find some odd tunes. That said, here’s some crazy ass improvisational Japanese electronic-esque music by a band called Kyu. You can check out a little info on the two artists in the band at Wikipedia. They have never recorded, they only play improv sets, hence all of the tracks are untitled. This is one of the very few recording of them available, thanks to BigO Worldwide for giving people the chance to hear this sort of stuff.
