#28 in our Summer Camp Artist Series is Oteil & The Peacemakers. Some of you might know Oteil a little better through his recent work on Bass/Vocals for The Allman Brothers Band since 1997, or perhaps his Vida Blue stint with Phish member Paige McConnell. Or maybe for his spot with Col. Bruce Hampton in Aquarium Rescue Unit, or the time he played with Gov’t Mule. The guy gets around.

Today for music I’ve got a track from a show he did recently at Canopy Club in Urbana, which I was present for. Sadly it was a very small crowd that night, but the band still put on a strong show for those of us that did make it. I’ve also got video to share from his show at Summer Camp 2005. As always, check out Oteil’s website and his MySpace page, as well.

from Oteil and the Peacemakers
