Tuesday Links – Ryan Adams, GRAB, Johnny Cash

Alright, I’ve got one test in the bag and I’m about to go begin studying for the next one. I got some good feedback about EAR FARM’s Live Johnny Cash post, and I’m in a bit of a crunch for time, so I’m gonna let some other music blogger’s take care of my work for the day.

  • First off, if you haven’t been visiting AquariumDrunkard over the last few weeks, you’ve missed out on quite a few gems. In particular, you’ve missed out on plenty of Ryan Adams’ lost albums (48 Hours, The Suicide Handbook, Destroyer, and The Loft Sessions), Wilco’s Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Demos Parts One and Two of Three, The Beach Boys 1967 Rehearsals, not too mention Loose Fur, Alejandro Escovedo, Whiskeytown, Talking Heads, The Meters…. Let’s just say he’s got his act together.  Also, if you have any trouble downloading these, I might be able to assist you….
  • RBally.net also has recently posted some live Ryan Adams.
  • Justin at LiveMusicBlog.com has caught wind of some Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, and Benevento-Russo Duo news from PhantasyTour. From PT:

[3.01.06] “Mike and Trey will be recording with The Duo, all four of whom will go on the road together. It is not known for certain at this point whether they will perform as a foursome, or in some other manner, perhaps GRaB and Trey alternating performance slots, with various sit-ins occuring during the shows. It is also not known at this point whether the shows, should they happen, would prevent Mike and Trey from performing acoustically together as well.”

  • You Ain’t No Picasso has switched from Blogger to YouAintNoPicasso.com, and he has a nice simple new layout for you to enjoy.
