I should probably point out at some point that while I’m operating out of Champaign-Urbana, I’m presenting anything between here and Chicago as local music. It’s not a big jump, and they’re both home for me, and I’ll usually specify between the Chambana scene acts and the others.
That said, Treologic is a Chicago act, but they seem to make it down to Urpaign pretty often. I first saw them in Spring 2005 performing at a party down here, and haven’t been able to catch them since sadly. However, they’re back in Urbana for The Canopy Club’s Rehearsal Space, which has returned this year in a Tuesday incarnation. Basically every month a new band takes over, and plays Rehearsal Space every Tuesday of the month. Treologic is the host for September, so you’ve got four chances to see them coming up, and absolutely no excuses not to. Check out a couple tracks here and be sure to catch at least one of their Rehearsal Space shows this month.
