I’ve been meaning to post more often on local acts and bands who I know personally, so fitting with that I snagged a live copy of a friend’s band, Saturday Morning, playing live at The Double Door in Chicago. I’m fairly sure the picture above is from that show, actually, but I could be mistaken. Anyways, they’re a five-piece act out of Joliet, Illinois, and they’ve got some upcoming shows in Peoria and Champaign, make sure to check those dates out on their MySpace page. I highly recommend “300 Miles” and “Ode,” both of which I’ve seen performed live and enjoyed quite a bit.
