Friday Links – Reggae, The Beastie Boys, Bo Dukes, STS9

Let’s start it off with some links, eh?

  • The Face Of Today has a few great new posts, check out The Beastie Boys collaborating with Miho Hatori, Chet Baker, and Paddy Milner, all great tracks.
  • Recently featured on Muzzle of Bees, The Bo Dukes from California have got some nice tracks posted on their MySpace, check those out. I just heard them for the first time a few days ago, and I like it. “Save The Day” and “Pirate Song” get my personal pick.
  • The children are getting some great musical releases lately, between Jack Johnson’s Curious George soundtrack, and this new indie collaboration featuring Sufjan, Broken Social Scene, and more. Check out the article at Rolling Stone.
  • I almost forgot, check out LiveMusicBlog.com’s weekend playlist, he’ll be catching the Sound Tribe Sector 9/Toubab Krewe show at House of Blues in downtown Chicago that I wish I was able to make.

That’s all I’ve got for now, don’t forget about the Nine Inch Nails show at Assembly Hall in Champaign tonight, if you’re there stop by the merch booth and say hello, I’ll be the shaggy haired kid selling T-Shirts.
